The R-Ranch in the Sequoias is the old logging town of Johnsondale located 26 miles north of Kernville inside the Sequoia National Forest.

The town of Johnsondale was acquired by a private developer who in turn created this unique 750-Acre private Recreational Ranch. He further created a unique “type of ownership” , unlike aTime Share. You “OWN” a deeded interest in the R-Ranch!!  As an owner, you can enjoy it year round.

Our cabins date back to the “logging town days” in the 30’s. We have updated & upgraded while still keeping the subtle rustic & charming feeling of old Johnsondale. Each cabin has full amenities for your comfort.

 The RV area offers over 200 spaces and has FULL hookups.
